The UAE government has announced a multitude of rules and precautionary steps following the outbreak of COVID – 19. Here, we take a look at some of the significant limitations which can give you knowledge regarding whether you are violating any COVID-19 laws or not.

1. Fines have been placed on violation of social distancing rules, avoiding face masks in public places, avoiding self-isolation processes, and so on.

2. The Government also issued a new app called the Abu Dhabi Police smart application to help provide information regarding possible violations of their Emirates ID.  Somebody can download the app through the UAE Public Prosecutor’s call center – 800 99999.

3.  The norms for COVID-19 are strictly followed by even the non residents of Abu Dhabi or those who have their Visa issued by some other emirate in the UAE.

4. To have access to the Abu Dhabi police apps, follow these steps –

- Firstly, download the App from the instructions provided by UAE public prosecutor

- Complete your registration using your Emirates ID after you verify the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

- Go to the Fine Inquiry and select ‘Inquiry by Emirates ID. ‘ ####Proceed to enter your Emirates ID number.

5. This App will provide information regarding any violations of COVID-19 rules or if you are under any fines for violating them.

6. The Dubai police have further informed that their Customer Support Hotline – 901 – can help check for any subtle violations by following the ted to Covid-19.  It can also be accessed via the Dubai Police Smart App.

7.  The App has a countrywide reach and can be accessed by residents across the UAE.

8.  In case if you have violated any of the laws, you can proceed to pay your fines. Follow these steps

- Download the Dubai Police App.

- Proceed to ‘fine payment’ options and click on ‘search.’

- Enquire about your fine based on the ticket.

- Choose the ‘fine year’ as 2020 and enter your Emirates ID in the ticket number. Select ‘Done.’

Following the successful completion of the above steps, the App will let you know of any fines that you might have incurred due to COVID – 19. Thus, this is how you can see whether you violated any laws regarding COVID-19 or not.
