According to Captain Rashid Al Attar, the Air Support Center is assisting in identifying the root causes of traffic jams. An aircraft is sent in to assess the severity of a traffic jam brought on by an accident.

Identifying the number plate of each vehicle from a thousand meters away is a plus for drones. In addition, they have proper control over a range of up to 15 kilometers. According to the Air Support Center, ignoring traffic lanes and the tendency to overtake from the road shoulder are two of the most often committed violations.
