The third phase of the health insurance UAE system was launched under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council. 

In this phase, the parents of Emirati workers in Sharjah's public sector and the Sharjah Police are also included. For the citizens of Sharjah 55 years of age and above, the phase also includes free treatment at the University Hospital of Sharjah. 

More than 50,000 Sharjah residents will benefit from this new phase, which will increase the number of beneficiaries. It follows the first phase, which provided health insurance UAE to Sharjah government employees, and the second phase, which saw the University Hospital in Sharjah offer free care to the elderly.

His Highness spoke at a government event on Wednesday morning that was held at the Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Center. The event focused on improving services and ensuring a reasonable standard of living through various health, economic, and social initiatives. 

The conference also covered human resource policies and employment openings for Sharjah residents, with a focus on His Highness' commitment to helping his subjects lead respectable lives by offering them successful careers. Nowadays, the authorities are encouraging people to ensure health insurance in Dubai and the UAE for a secure future. Initiatives like this will ease the living status of people without any doubt.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi (Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development), Dr. Mansour bin Nassar (the head of the department in charge of Legal Affairs in Sharjah), Afaf Ibrahim Al Marri, (Chairperson of the department in charge of Social Services in Sharjah), Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, (the head of the department in charge of Human Resources), as well as many officials.
